Hello again everyone, another
successful show is in the books J It was a busy
one but we all agreed it went off on schedule, we were able to get the track in
shape every day, had more tickets sold
for the fun pull, more memberships than last year, and the swapmeet appears to
be up too. I know the weather was cooler and may have kept the gate traffic
down some, but everyone working seemed to be in a good mood and no one seemed
overwhelemed by anything work wise, so to our workers give yourself a hand, and
to our members thank you, you are part of our improvement and growth and we
hope we are making the right decisions to make the show right for everyone
I did get the roster updated tonight
so some of you are getting this for the first time, if you hear of someone who
is not getting their email or letter have them get in touch with me and we’ll
see what’s going on (how we do the roster and email list is at the show we redo
memberships, and that list of members gets used so it does vary year to year).
Also Chris Rolke wanted me to let you all know we do have club calendars being
made up, they should be ready to go for the October meeting, price
is $12. Also included is a RSVP form for the club Christmas Party, we’re going
to try and get a head count sooner so we can better order our dinner for it
Well harvest is a couple weeks away at
least right now, so we’re doing some catchup work and firewood now. I am still
amused by my pulls Sunday, I have to thank everyone who helped by loaning a
tractor to the mill-helping bale straw-pull start the 820, it was a mad dash
but I am grateful for the help, I am truly blown away by that (I know I got a
couple people who I owe a tractor to for the fun pull next year
